Adhisaya was introduced through the film 'Vattaram'. The actress has decided to be known in films with her real name Vasundhara henceforth and acted in the recently released film 'Jeyam Kondaan' as the villain's girlfriend.
Vasundhara has now graduated to play heroine in the film 'Peranmai' that stars 'Jayam' Ravi. Though thrilled at the response she has received for her performance in 'Jeyam Kondaan', the young actress is keen on playing heroine from now on.
'No matter how well one performs in various characters, the adulation and prospects that emanate for heroines is missing. Therefore, I want to play heroine in films'.
Incidentally, there is a whiff in the air that Vasundhara is being considered for a Mani Ratnam film. However, when queried, the actress replied, 'I have nothing to say at the moment'.
